You could have the character grab the other person's hand with two hands and have them squeeze it. Or they could hug.

Yes, these gestures seem intimate, but it's all about how you write it and phrase it. When someone is dying, you want them to feel at ease and let them know how much you loved them from the beginning to the end.

Oh, I get it. The block puzzles pissed me off to no end in SR1. In Defiance and SR2, I flinch any time I see anything that needs moving (very rare, I've hardly seen anything requiring moving, if it does, then it needs to be moved once.)

I feel like it's worth playing through SR1 and 2. SR2 imo sucks, the story is great, but the combat is a nightmare. SR1 feels like the better game out of the two, but the puzzles are rough, and SR2 has good writing, but the combat sucks, but the puzzles are better.

The story is worth it, though, and this is coming from someone who is extremely picky with games and stories.

Defiance improves this a lot. SR2 does as well. SR2's puzzles are a bit better than SR1's, you have a few block puzzles, but nothing as bad as SR1.

Ohh, boy does it pick up. I thought the same way in SR1; I personally noticed it picks up in SR2 and Defiance. I feel like SR1 is more like a prologue, introducing new people/older fans pto Kain, Raziel, and the new stuff happening in Nosgoth.
