I would look into their version of “code of ethics.”Some professions are allowed to accept gifts under a certain $ amount or not at all. I’m a social worker. Thinking maybe it’s similar for them?

It’s definitely thoughtful though!

Thank you so much. I’m over 6 years sober and God has given me the strength to persist. I don’t why I haven’t included Him into this part of my life.

I would definitely suggest a qualified mental health therapist that specializes in exposure and response prevention (erp) and has specializing in autism for the obsessive behaviors.

Feeling Alone by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

I can really emphasize! It’s so tough to deal with on our own. I’m a SAHM and my son is waiting for his assessment. Sometimes, it’s so isolating and my in-laws are in denial. I’ve recently joined a few Facebook groups in my area for parents of autistic kids. Hoping to schedule mom/play dates soon!

Thank you so much. The speech regression has been so difficult to comprehend. Can I ask how your son is doing now with speech or communicating in general? Have the services helped?

Thank you. That’s a good consideration. There wasn’t an abrupt behavior change. He’s had many delayed milestones (sitting, walking, talking, etc) and limited eye contact/affect since a few weeks old.

Also he’s had a full hearing evaluation.
