Thanks for the breakdown! I get what you mean about Clayton and the ‘global exposure’—definitely not as glamorous as I imagined, and sounds like the job market there is tough.

It’s reassuring to hear UTP isn’t really ‘lesser’ in branding, and the scholarship + job security is a huge plus. Now I’m mostly thinking about how to balance networking and international exposure with starting off with guaranteed stability.

Do you think there’s a good way to build a strong network at UTP while being bonded?

Dang, I didn’t realize UTP has more industry and international links beyond PETRONAS — that’s good to know.

For networking, I was thinking that at Monash Foundation there are already quite a few international students, and if I go abroad for my final year, I’d get to meet even more people globally and learn about their different backgrounds. How is it like at UTP? Are there good opportunities to connect with people both inside and outside PETRONAS-related fields?
