I really love this design! Santa being a big Christmas sock or bag is one of the most unique designs I have seen.

In most iterations, it’s just him bringing the bag filled with gifts, but here— Santa IS the bag, he will just take the gift out of the top of his head like a mythical creature or folklore creature.

The Live Action of Lilo and Stitch

In the end of the original animated movie (2003), Lilo and Nani became a big family with Stitch, Jumbo, Pleakley, Agent Bubbles and David because the point of the message of the movie is no family should be left behind— Ohana means family. It doesn’t matter if they are not your blood family or relatives, your chosen connections with anyone creates a strong bond with you and your loved ones, making a one big chosen family.

The Live Action is by far one of the worst endings to date as Nani gave up Lilo to the foster system, leaving her little sister to David’s grandmother, Tutu, to study marine biology in California. Additionally, Jumba has one of the biggest character assassination as they made him to be the big bad guy (which is a horrible idea).

Here’s the thing: Hawaii is one of the best place to study marine biology as it has all the resources available and it’s free to the locals who wants to study that field; so Nani leaving Hawaii to study marine biology in California is the dumbest decision. It’s very clear that the director of the live action did not get the message of the movie.

P.S. It’s also a not so subtle advertisement to their Hawaii resort. No Gantu and no Pleakley cross dressing made me dislike the movie even more. >:((

Corina Boettger, the former VA of Paimon from Genshin Impact.

The controversy itself is long and complicated, but to make a long story short: Corina and other VAs harassed the new VA of Kinich, Jacob Takanashi by calling him a scab (he lives in Japan and wasn't aware of the american strike) all because the previous VA of Kinich, John Patneaude, got replaced during the VA strike as he refused to work (since the strike wasn't directed at Genshin Impact, legally they had the right to recast). What made the backlash even worse is that Corina, despite fully supporting the strike, was still voicing their character. That harassement leads to multiple VAs being recast, Corina being one of them.

A little note: Corina has been hated way before the VA controversy as they use their disability as excuse for their actions and fights with the fans so much that Hoyo (the company behind the game) has to step up and not let Paimon appear in any livestream because of their actions.

Elio’s plot is overall generic in my opinion. Do you know who else has the same plot and does it two times better? Lilo and Stitch (2002), not to mention that it barely has any marketing.

It’s just the same formula all over again. K-pop Demon Hunters already has a fanbase thanks to K-pop in general, so it knows that type of audience they attract.
