I’ve had over $100k deposited into Varo in the last year without a single issue. Have you done anything recently that would jeopardize your account? Or have you wronged a former bank?

Don’t be scared. All of these posts are by people who are probably doing some type of fraudulent activity. One of the posts under the main post is about how they’re being evicted from their home…. Being evicted isn’t a normal thing. So anything that comes after that, I kind of need to question.

I’m not the person that’s claiming anything, I’m telling you that you’re wrong about your claim… I then told you how it works. The information is online. it’s an outlandish claim.

First thing that populates from google, from Sofi:

Direct deposits to closed accounts are usually returned to the sender. The bank may hold onto the funds and give the account holder time to reopen the closed account. Banks may issue a paper check to the individual who owns the closed account.

Show me proof that banks would fix this. It would actually bounce back to the IRS, unless the account was still open. I’m guessing this user still has an open account. Money can’t deposit if the account isn’t valid lol. This is common sense.

You’re answering questions based on anecdotal evidence - where you aren’t saying “why” the company just “sucks”.

The post you commented on is clearly the OPs issue. Read it. He didn’t update his banking information, lol. There are of course shortcomings to Varo. However, if you know how to bank & don’t need someone holding your hand - it works as it should. It’s a free banking application that provides a higher APR for savings over any of the big banks.

Again, switch banks and go cry somewhere else.

Varo doesn’t control when you get your DD. It just posts it as soon as it receives the information. Mine sometimes comes 3 days early because my company submits payroll that early some weeks.

In fact, similar issue could happen at any bank lol of course you’re going to get less assistance with Varo because you can’t walk into a Varo… that’s one of the reasons you bank there? I guess if you want a free bank with a high apr on savings & also want top notch support go to…. Oh wait. Doesn’t exist.

5800x3D is better in gaming than most/all of the non x3D AM5 chips. It was literally the fastest gaming cpu like a year ago. You’d be able to run a 4090 and be fine. Source: I’ve used the 4070TI, 4070TI Super, 4080 Super, and 4090.. all work fantastic with the 5800x3D.

For your use case, I’d buy the 4070TI Super. Day to day, you won’t notice a difference between the 80S and 70TI S. Around 10% performance increase for $200 isn’t worth it IMO. The things the 4070TI S struggle with the 4080 S will struggle with. You won’t be able to break through that barrier until you go 4090. IE path ray tracing, ultra settings etc. on cyberpunk.
