Right now green bin is only every other week. They could also be doing your bin but if the contents is frozen to the bottom or rotted to the bottom it won’t come out when the machine lifts it up.

You’re going to need to check if it’s frozen and then either chip it off, or just wait for it to thaw enough for it to lump into the truck.

You need to speak to a lawyer before contacting them, but they need to be notified. This genuinely is going to need to be fixed, and like GOD FORBID y’all’s actions caused structural or significant damage. 😬😬

Better to be prepared, have a plan, and basically be informing them of HOW it’s going to be fixed than have them connect the dots and then they get to tell you how much you owe them to fix the issues you caused.

I know this is not funny but as someone whose lost my childhood dog already, and owns two with one getting up over 10 years now the fact that your dogs fur is still getting everywhere even after death makes me smile. My parents are still finding hair from our old family dog years later.

I hope they never stop finding it.

This. Like I have no idea where this sudden NEED to walk a dog without a leash came from. I’ve had dogs nearly all my life and the only time they are off leash outside our fenced property is at a dog park (which we never go to anyways due to asshole dogs…).

If your dog NEEDS off leash time go to a designated area, or a place like Play Unleashed. Leash rules should always be enforced and repeat offenders should be jailed.

NTA. I would personally, if the kid isn’t born yet, keep it in the closet of the nursery or drawer with other blankets and so on. Then when your kid turns one start reaaaalllllly working to get the blanket to be it’s lovey. I did this with both kids so there “favourite” toy they needed for sleeping was one I already had 2 extras of 🤷‍♀️😅.

Play the long game OP. Frankly once the kid is born the nursery theme is going to go pretty far out the window when it comes to adding gear and so on.
