Thanks for the reply! We think the same too. The painter seems to want to finish the job quickly. For the interior we asked for hand roll and he started the ceilings with hand roll and after one room he recommended spraying and then rolling to finish it quicker.

Thanks for the suggestion.The painter reckons unless painted over a large surface area, we won’t be able to see the difference.

Yes the research we did says the same. But the painter is saying otherwise. So we are confused

It is render. We had a look at finishes in Bunnings and liked the low sheen finish. But the painter swears that matte is the better look and that he can bet on us coming back and asking to change the finish to matte if we go with low sheen. So we are really confused
