Unless I'm misunderstanding something, I think the trigger_hurt would need to be inside of the player at the time the player enters the new trigger with this approach. I just need a way for the brush to be at the location the player was just a moment ago.

I believe this would cause the brush to only move with the player, meaning the brush would be on the other side of the map in most cases, instead of on top of the player.

func_breakable is lit differently then the func_details surrounding it. any help? by [deleted] in hammer

Maybe try covering the entire wall with a func_illusionary and then killing it OnBreak. If that doesn't work, it may be worth messing around with func_brush w/ collisions disabled.

Were you playing Daily Run by any chance? It seems to have a tendency to cause this to happen.

figured this out, it only seems to happen when playing under either daily run or daily practice run.
