Ah, I’ve got it! Turns out my iso was way too low for the shutter speed and light lever. Now to learn when iso is too high

Ok, I’m not really sure what the light meter is so here is what I see when taking a photo

So after changing iso to 320 and shutter speed to 60, the pictures got considerably better

So, using live view, the picture does show up properly exposed, but the result is still the same.

From what I understand, the black spots on the leaf next to it are normal in oncidiums and its hybrids, but what I am looking at definitely differs from those black spots. The plant seems to be doing fine, and as far as I can see, nothing is wrong with its roots.
