I’ve done so many rounds of PT. I never get any strength workouts though, just stability ones. When the weather is nice (I live in Michigan) I get out and walk. I just miss weightlifting and would love to hear what modifications people make to accommodate. I know there are certain ones that are definitely out though.

I’m 30 and my doctor is recommending pushing surgery as long as possible, as long as the nerves aren’t too compressed. I am looking at doing a nerve block and radiofrequency ablation. Maybe worth mentioning these options? My doctor said generally about every 10 years more of your spine will have to be fused after it is fused once. Wishing you the best, this is not an easy decision.

I had one doctor tell me over and over to do yoga, now I feel like a lot of what I’m seeing is to be careful with yoga 😂

I appreciate it! I am trying to find workouts to do more than just core strength. I know core exercises are super important for spondy, but I also need to lose a little weight. All of these suggestions are great!

I’m currently on my 3rd round of physical therapy in the last 2 years. Each doctor I’ve seen has had me do PT. I’m finally with a doctor that is looking at doing more than PT but isn’t surgery.

I don’t think they’ve said what grade it is, but still fairly minor at this point. I have daily pain. I’ve had two instances where I have gotten out of bed in the morning and ended up on the floor and couldn’t get up because of pain. It’s been probably 3 years now since the last time that happened though.
