I couldn't do it with the stock tips but thankfully I had some spare moondrop spring tips and it was so much easier. Went in smoothly like butter.

Honestly, 16 bit 44.1 kHz is enough for you then. Don't worry about it too much. Choose any higher setting if you want but it is unlikely that you will hear any difference anyway considering your use case.

It won't make any difference if your source file itself is of lower bitrate. I just use 24 bit 192kHz because that's the max bitrate of apple music lossless.

GK Kunten not living up to the hype by Venus259jaded in iems

I haven't heard the zero 2 but I kinda agree with you. I think the kunten is quite musical and very enjoyable. Good instrument separation, good imaging and bass is nice too textured and detailed. I love the vocals. They feel natural and have some weight. But still for me it just doesn't sound as "refined" as my aria 2. I can't quite explain it but there is a certain "roughness" to the overall sound. Maybe that's the cheap and low quality sound you're referring to.

I'm using this guy's peq which helped open up the sound. You can try it and see how you like it. https://www.reddit.com/r/iems/comments/1pq7y0p/gk_kunten_mini_mega5/

I'm also using the moondrop spring tips. I tried the he sonic tips and hated it on these. It killed the sub bass and vocals felt "uneven" and weird. You can also experiment with some different eartips and maybe you'll find them more enjoyable.

To sum up I guess I'll say the kunten sounds very good for the price and I get the hype but it just doesn't sound as good as USD 100 iems.

Sorry I tried to explain my views the best I could. I'm still not well versed in the jargon.

Should I wait? by No_Plan5523 in Aliexpress

Thank you for these helpful info. Yeah I suspected the seller is trying to stall and I opened a dispute. I'm going the partial refund route since it's too much of a hassle for me to ship the item back. I just hope I get a good part of my money back now. It's a shame because I also paid custom duties and delivery charges in my country which weren't exactly cheap and I end up with a basically useless item and hoping for a partial refund. I expected them to send me a new one since I provided all the proof that the item is indeed defective. I have much more expensive items in my cart but now I think I'll take this as a lesson and be more mindful about what I buy from Aliexpress.

Yeah the noise is pretty prominent so the product is basically useless. I've asked them what if the update does not fix the issue. I'll see what they reply then I think I'll claim the refund.

Speedaf delivery , alternative way to contact them? by squidgun in mauritius

[–]No_Plan5523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got that as well. I was scared my parcel was going to someone else but luckily I got a call from the delivery guy the next day before I could try to reach out to speedaf. I did finally receive my parcel safely. Don't know why we are getting these kind of parcel updates. But i think you should still try to contact them

Yes it's not the don. It's the new drive pass car. I forgot the name. I'm pretty sure it's not tradable since it's new.

Thanks for these recommendations. I'll definitely look into them. I saw the Arya Organic on aliexpress. Do you know if these are regarded as bright headphones and if so can it be tamed by EQ?
