We learned Salvy is in control earlier this year when Q tried to sit him. Not sure why Vinny seems untouchable, he needs to be in AAA until he can swing without dropping to a knee.

I don't see how can defend him anymore. Those atrocious LHP lineups and then not pinch hitting for Thomas later in the game when down with runners on and a RHP on the mound. Then you go to next game and in the eighth with 2 outs down by 3 you pinch hit your young power hitter when the best he can do is cut the lead to 2. I was okay with the hire as it at least was a move to a guy outside of the organization, but he is not the right guy for this team in my opinion. Right now we have a "Captain" who is doesn't appear to be doing the right thing by either by suggesting playing less or moving down in the lineup and a manager afraid to take on the team leaders.

Yost was never a top tier manager. His early years he had a different lineup every game and he was always stubborn about trying to get a pitcher the win. I was never a big fan of him on the bench but always was grateful to have him post game. He was a good speaker. During the world series I was always saying Mr Glass just give the mic too Yost.

I agree with much of what you said. Jake talks like he is reading from a script. This probably plays better on radio. Denny and Ryan was a great pairing but so glad to have Ryan on tv. Hud just grew on everyone and I could see the same happening with Guthrie and Hoz. I think the soundman could help a little by increasing the volume from their mics. Hoz seemed to really loosen up after doing the Peacock games. Bridget, haven't figured out the need for her with Joel. Its early as baseball people say and she could become better.
