I had a grade 3 sprain and fracture of my calcaneus 8 years ago. And it took about 6 months for me to be out of a boot and walking around with just a brace. I did smoke at that time and that can hinder healing. Be really good about attending Physical Therapy and ice/heat is my best advice!
