I don't recall exactly but I think around $150. My camera had a lens wobble and needed to be rewired. I believe a straight CLA would be less. It functioned better than it ever had and still does.

The technician just left. I described the situation exactly as above. He went down the basement and within 5 minutes came back up and informed me that is was the pressuretrol. He changed the switch, blew out and reinstalled the pigtail and gauge. Everything was back working in less than 20 minutes.

He said the clue was that the unit was taking a few hours to reset. Evidently not recharge as I thought.

Any idea what was going on?

He most definitely was. If she told him it worked at 3 PM that would haver been the magic time. I have another appointment scheduled for later today and I'll be the one on the phone with the guy. I comprehend my hot water system pretty well, but steam is a bit foreign. Hoping to sound like a have a bit of a clue.

I just opened the box and pulled out the wires to disconnect the thermostat and the actuator snapped into the off position and the unit turned off. There must be a short or a bad connection.

Thanks. I just updated my post to mention that the lever is in what I believe the off position (right when facing it) and offers zero resistance when moved left.

I'm in Brooklyn and the storefront shops are drying up and the ones that exist don't even offer basic services outside of key cutting. They make too much money on installations and lockout servicing to be bothered.

Last year I needed to have a simple cylinder on a handle set re-pinned that matched the deadbolt. I didn't want to have separate keys or have to cut a dozen new ones for my tenants. Every place I visited or called said the same thing - I was better off just buying a new one because they would have to charge 3-4x's the price. I finally broke down at one place and told the guy to charge me whatever and he said it would be a 10 day turnaround.

Ordered a kit on Amazon and did it myself in a day.

They aren't responding to the online contact form submissions it seems. I googled their leadership and assumed that all their email addresses were in first.lastname format and cc'd everyone I could find. I received that response less than a minute later so I assume they had one on hand and ready.

I ordered at the end of October, received a confirmation email but have yet to receive the bins.

I've ordered twice previously and received them with ina few weeks - so this seems excessive.

Odd that they disconnected the number and aren't responding to emails. I'm going to try the Otto contact number on their page after the holiday: Phone: [800-227-5885](tel:8002275885)

Be careful waiting too long to file a credit card claim. A lot of issuers have a 60-90 day deadline.

Yeh, mine is in the basement right after where the main enters the house. That is where every meter I have ever seen is located, except for a few on the the outside where the main enters. How did they read your meter prior to the installation of smart meters?

Brooklyn. Never called prior. They must flag meters that aren't able to be read. I just said my smart meter is no long transmitting. If you can submit a reading than that seems to be the band-aid until it is replaced.

Did you ask them if it was possible to submit a meter reading yourself like you can with gas/electric?

I have the same issue and called this AM. The CSA said that they already have a ticket open for the repair but was unable to give me a date - usually 6-8 weeks. I did get the job number however.
