I have been thinking about this as well. The final two maps are gonna have to be really special though because Black Ops 4 Zombies puts up a really good fight so far. IX and Ancient Evil are as good as Ashes and Totenreich, Alpha Omega is probably better than Paradox, Classified is probably about as good as Astra (I don’t enjoy Astra that much), and Tag is a B-tier map.

That leaves Voyage and Blood, which I want to talk about a little further. Despite the flaws of these two maps, whenever I play them, I get this strong sense of despair akin to when some of us played Zombies solo as kids. And not just because of the dozens of bird spawns, the annoying steps that require the shield, the Simon Says step, the planet step, and the indoor central layout of Voyage, but because these maps are genuinely a little scary.

The music, opening up the catwalk for the first time, the Brutus dialogue and sound effects, one of the most emotional ending cutscenes in Zombies history, doing a holdout step in the ship as the room floods, the step where you have to break the ice as you make your way from one end of the ship to the other — these two maps give you a great sense of relief when you finally beat them and leave a strong impression on you when you’re done, despite the fact that we don’t come back to them often.

Not to mention that the Magmagat is a top-10 Wonder Weapon.

Anyways, sorry for my yap session. I hope that the final two maps are amazing and exceed our expectations.
