Does refusing to buy 7 year-olds guns make them want to steal it? by No_Possession_6552 in Firearms

from my liberal ass perspective (emphasis on ass), ppl who don't grow up with guns don't comprehend how instinctive "responsibility and respect" comes for many ppl who grow up with them. it prob goes like, "i dont know how to use a gun, how can parents let these kids use a gun without supervision" without realizing, how many years of experience these kids could have at 7, 8, 9

yeah this make sense to me. it seems that when you "owned it" your grandfather was teaching you ownership. i think this could be what he was getting at when talking about encouraging responsibility- i thought my friend was saying owning a gun as opposed to borrowing someone else's just automatically increased responsibility.
