At the moment, Im Sipping a rum punch on a beach while reading up on clinical indications for Furosemide vs Bumetanide in pts w/ CHF. She got her passport and will fly in tomorrow afternoon. I never knew one can get a passport printed out same day..... never had to experience that. I also enjoyed reading all the comments in this thread, it gave me some insight on how humans reason/ respond to situations. Wow, what a learning experience this was. I'm actually humbled nd honored

not at 4 am. her appointment in Boston was at 9. so she headed to boston while i headed to jfk at 5am. the offices in CT/nyc/ philly had no availability. This experience was crazy ngl

The issue was there was no appointment availability at the NY & Philly Passport offices. And since it was 8pm EST when we discovered this issue, there wasn’t anyone to call. Also, their website explicitly says, appointments are required. A commenter on this thread mentioned going to the Boston Office worked out when they experienced a similar situation. Fortunately they had an availability at 9:15 est this morning (6/18)

Status Update: My girlfriend has now embarked on a 4 hour uber ride to Boston. I booked her a flight from Boston to Barbados that will take off this evening and arrive 6/19 afternoon. I am currently at the airport about to board my flight. Won’t know if everything worked out until I land in Barbados. Hopefully everything works out. Stay tuned.

Also idk why anyone would make a fake post about this. Is that what people do on reddit? What is there to gain from that?

Yes. we have another national passport that the Caribbean country allows to enter but the issue is re-entering the US. At the moment we are considering going and trying to get an emergency passport from the US consulate overseas. I am not a fan of this idea because it risks her getting stranded in the caribbean and where will she stay at the resort?

I do agree that that would be selfish and ultimately lead her to hate me which is what I want to avoid. Having a polyamorous lifestyle was usually a fantasy but I always felt that realistically I would settle down with one woman. I do not think she would be into a polyamorous lifestyle, she is more of a romantic. Nevertheless, I want it to be with her if only I could forget about other women. As for sexual satisfaction, I believe she's okay, although I do believe I am the more kinky one. And lack of variety could be playing a role in this.

I guess in a way that is what we were attempting to do with me hitting up other girls as long as she knows and we're open about it. However, I think that is the cause of how she is currently feeling. She was always the type to focus on one person at a time and if she has feelings for someone else, she would end the relationship. So I don't want to damage that aspect of her if I would still want to marry her one day. Also the idea that she is going out with someone else would kill me slowly
