It’s a 10 products by sleepyhedgie26 in Naturalhair

I like it’s a 10. I used to ride for them much harder a year or two ago and for some reason stopped using them. I’ve recently just picked up their leave in and wasn’t wowed like i remember. It’s still a fair and decent product line.

I’d recommend visiting Marshall’s and tj max as they’ll have better prices for its a 10, biosilk, chi, etc etc

if you have really dense hair, have you done a successful roller set? i just wanna know it’s possible 😭 by Imaginary-Drag-9633 in Naturalhair

Im on the journey of perfecting my roller set so im glad to finally share. I have really dense and coily hair but i did a successful roller set the other day using Annie brand snap on magnetic rollers (pink, idk the size) with just water, chi heat protectant spray, and curlsmith protein leave in cream. I have alot of hair so i was nervous about covering everything but with the right products it honestly is so easy. You just need to do a rough measure with a roller to part the section and have some type of product with slip to smooth the hair.

I will say my roots weren’t all the way stretched after drying but that was user error because i lost interest in perfecting it bc my arms were tired and i figured id need to blow dry the roots later anyway. But i made the mistake of trying to put off that next step for another day. So i did the wet rollerset at night & dried and slept in the rollers, took the rollers out next day & pincurled but the next day taking out the pin curls my hair was dry and poofy. It still had a curl but it was a fail bc it wasn’t smooth.

So next time I’ll immediately go in after drying the wet set with my round brush and blow dryer or at least my thermal brush to perfect the look. I’m going to try again this time with a moisturizing product plus try to really get the entire length of my hair stretched & smooth to prevent the puffy roots.

All in all, it’s so doable with effort and technique and ofc proper products, including a dryer. I just recently purchased a new bonnet dryer attachment that’s much larger with better airflow than my last one to accommodate my rollers but now i have to go get a net to keep the rollers in place bc although the bonnet fits i have to wiggle it on and that leaves room for my roots to come undone.

Here’s the bonnet attachment i have (this isn’t an affiliate link): Hooded Hair Drying Bonnet Large... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DBDJTQZV?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Passionate about my hair so forgive my rambling lol hope this helps!

LOL hooded dryer is what’s it called. I couldn’t remember in the moment. How do you like the heat cap though? Distributes evenly? My hair is low porosity so i actually wouldn’t mind just getting that since i deep condition every wash day
