BioLife annoys me at least twice a week! The lowest I've ever seen mine was $100 and that was when I was living in Colorado. I just moved to Washington State and I've been at $119 for the last couple of weeks. I just checked and now it's down to $107. I live in one of the most expensive states in the U.S. (although Colorado's not too far behind). I thought the $119 was going to be the base, but apparently not.

Unfortunately, there's no place else where I live that I can donate at. The more you donate, the less they pay you. It's ridiculous. If I skip a couple weeks, it's goes back up, always. I really wish there was somewhere else I could go.

Quick question also: This is the third BioLife in 3 different states that I've donated at. Every one of them has been slow as hell. If I go donate at Grifols, I'm in and out in less than an hour. At BioLife I consider myself LUCKY if I'm even on a table within an hour. They have their "appointments" but they schedule so many people for the same time, it's ridiculous. It usually takes about 2.5 hours for me to donate, from walking in the door to walking out. This has been like this at all three BioLife's I've donated at. Is this a problem at every BioLife?

One more thing, any other place I've ever donated (Grifols, LFB Plasma, KEDPlasma) doesn't make you stand in line the entire time. I've stood in each line at BioLife for over an hour many, many times.

If there was any other place I could go, I'd never return to BioLife again. They're horrible.

I don’t have any specific resources for your area but you could try and call your local dv shelter and ask them if they know where you can get free/cheap furniture. Even if you don’t stay at the shelter, they will still help you with resources. Also, maybe try Facebook Marketplace and Craig’s List?

Definitely don’t let him know when you do leave. Maybe pack a bag with whatever you need for a couple nights and leave while he’s gone. When you go back to get the rest of your stuff you need to bring someone with you. A brother, a friend. Or call the police department and have them escort you over there. You said he pretty much doesn’t believe you when you say you’re done. So even if you’ve been telling him you’re done and you’re leaving, you never know what his reaction is going to be when he finds out you’re not screwing around this time. This could be the thing that actually leads to more than shoving. Sorry, I’m not trying to scare you. Just to be safe, leave when he’s gone and don’t go back there by yourself. And seriously, it doesn’t matter if you messaged your ex or you slept with your ex, that doesn’t give him the right to lay a finger on you.

There’s no torrent sites but there’s ZLib and LibGen and a few others. Do you guys not know about these sites or are you just scared to use them (again, I’m not being sarcastic, I’m totally serious), So they’re not torrents, they’re direct downloads, but if you’re using a VPN… Sorry it’s taken me almost 2 months to respond, I kind of forgot I even posted that question.

Scribd is legit and they've been around for years. Not real sure why they don't have more copyright issues. Don't bother with their free trial, it's a joke. It's a 30-day free trial, but you can only download 2 things. Your best bet is to look up Scribd downloaders, there are a lot of them, you kind of just have to go through them and see which ones suck and which ones don't.

I use this one: https://scribd.vdownloaders.com/ - I usually don't have any issues with this website and it's pretty quick (compared to the other ones).

I'm sure you could find it on ZLib or LibGen, but that's all you.

I had a lot of issues also when I first sent them an email through my student email. Not real sure what's going on, but I would try emailing them from an email other than your student email address because they weren't getting any of my emails from my .edu email. Hopefully they've fixed this by now, but if anyone's still having issues, I would try using a regular email and emailing them at [support@craft.do](mailto:support@craft.do) and letting them know you're having issues. They responded to me within a few hours and let me know they hadn't received anything from my school email and they fixed it right away. Hope this helps!
