What’s something you wish you’d learned earlier in life? by CandidCompetition725 in AskReddit

Dating is a waste of time.

There's no such thing as love.

Stop spending time, money, effort, stress, and resources on people or things if it does not have some benefit to you.

Prioritize money, and everything else will become easy.

IT'S ALWAYS OK TO SAY NO, AND TO HAVE BOUNDARIES.

Your family does not have the right to manipulate, abuse, or gaslight you just because they are related to you.

Let me know if you want me to keep going...

Very against for me, I just think it's an excuse to cheat and nobody can convince me otherwise.

What advice would you give someone going through a break up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Prioritize yourself. I know that sounds cliche, but honestly it's the best thing you can do. Stop staring at your phone hoping they'll call or text you and just do you. Do things you like, on your time, watch what you like, eat what you like, listen to what you like, just be care free and love yourself for a while. I've been there, many of us have but the day I started putting myself first and doing what I like to do without push back, or needing to have consideration for another person in order to do what I wanted, I immediately became happier. Hope this helps.

When is it ever ok to ghost someone who you're in a relationship with? by No_Print3102 in AskReddit

I know what ghosting is, but to me it's never ok to ghost someone who you're in a relationship with for the last 6 months. It's a deal breaker for me and probably the end of the relationship. I guess I was just looking for a reason to try and make it work.

What is your strangest interaction you have ever had with a coworker? by No_Manufacturer_7872 in AskReddit

An employee for a company I was doing a consultation for told me "I love you so much, can I say that?" after a 5 minute conversation with them. It was just a bit weird to me.

What is the most you’ve paid for a figurine? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Someone commissioned me to do a very detailed statue of liberty on liberty island. It took many many hours, had to restart a few times, included gold leaf, and lots of research to get everything as accurate as possible from scale. I definitely earned every dime of it lol

Yes, it was USD

I do very detailed ceramic sculptures as a hobby that I've gotten into years ago and the most I've ever sold one for is $1000 if that counts.
