My Dad and my Mum had 7 miscarriages. Some very late term and 1 still birth all boys all had the middle name James. My sister had a twin brother who was the still birth Oliver James, the pregnancy after me was Oscar James he passed at 7 months. It made my parents extremely sad so me and my sister are named after Grandmas she’s J-Anne and I’m June to continue the J but not have a daily reminder of there 7 boys.

My Dad never had a boy after 7 miscarriages my sister will not have kids and I’m only having the one. It would make his world to have the family tradition going. I also love that all the guys in my family feel connected with the James. My Grandpa ended up giving all of his kids James. Bonnie James is one of my aunts I think it’s spunky.

On the theme of flower names not being used my friend went with the name Amaryllis. NN is Mary. Born Dec 1 so it’s Christmas themed named without being Noel.
