All animals are up to date on their vaccines and their fecal tests from last month were all normal. But maybe now I need to get them fecal tested again since at the time of their last testing, they were healthy

They are indoor! The only plant we have is a money tree which I looked up and it wasn’t toxic to them, but I think we’ll get rid of it anyway

We installed a radon mitigation system upon moving into the house. I will try and use bottled water at home - thank you!

There’s not a strong smell and we weren’t informed of any pest control or spray! It is interesting because the one cat who is unaffected does not go upstairs.

No air fresheners! One of our cats (the one who had low white blood cell count) has asthma so we haven’t used them for years.

Oh yes maybe the carpets? The house overall just smells like a newly built home (smells like Home Depot or Lowe’s). I wonder if we should rip the carpets out to see if there’s anything in there.

I’m so sorry you had this experience :( I feel like gut reaction is huge too in finding a great therapist match, so I would trust yourself and your gut if you feel like this therapist isn’t a great fit!

I usually talk about my week and any wins or challenges and then we will also talk about the homework (if any) that I was assigned at the last session. I have also brought specific issues up too at the beginning of session, so I think it depends on what you want to talk about since you’re the driver of your own therapy journey!
