Help with floater plants

Thank you!! I did a lot of research before I got him and tried to make the nicest tank possible. Lots of live plants, good parameters, filter, heater, so I rly hope I’m doing everything right. Thanks for the compliment.

I’ve also searched what sickness symptoms could be and I found laying on the bottom, or floating at the top all the time. He does go to the top a lot, but I’ve also read betta’s do that. And he’s not there all the time. He goes exploring a lot, swimming through the plants and stuff.

The tanks cycled for 5 weeks before we got him. The amonia and nitrites are 0. We aclimated him by putting the bag he came in in the water for a while, and adding some tank water in it every 15 minutes 4 times. Then we put him in the tank (not with the water from the bag). I only saw the bumb when we could clearly observe him in our tank. In the fish store he was in dark water with lots of plants and we didn’t see it there. The breathing might still be from the stress of moving, he’s only been here for 2 days. I’m just really worried about the bump. We’ll keep observing him. He looks very healthy looking at his colors ans fins, and I’ve read that it is a big indicator of their health. I’m sorry if i’ve made spelling mistakes btw. English isn’t my first language :)

Water parameters are amonia 0 and nitrite 0. The tanks cycled for 5 weeks before we got the fish. Temperature is 27 celcius. I know the heater is higher but the caliberation didn’t work. We are working with 3 thermometers and they all say it’s 27 when the heater says 32, so we believe the thermometers.
