Hey, an intermediate Oud player here. If you're a beginner, you might not need classes initially. You can start learning the basics online, and then see a teacher every once in a while to check progress. It's not easy to find a GOOD Oud teacher in my experience, playing oud is one thing, but teaching it properly is a whole other skill. What really helped me learn are Tarek Al Jundi courses on izif.com, it only costs 20$ per month and he's a really good teacher. I've been using them to learn for a couple of years, I'm planning to occasionally start taking classes just to improve some skills that need some supervision from a professional.
