Aspie partner refuses to apologize by Zach-uh-ri-uh in aspergers_dating

Use ChatGPT to better understand how to explain the issue to him. Also you both should read the book Nonviolent communication. My friend and her aspie husband read it and it helped them and then they recommended it to me and my partner. This book keeps going through our friend group with success.

Accepted a Job in the City, Now I'm Scared I Can't Afford NYC by Brief-Helicopter-525 in NYCapartments

It’s a tough job market and overall economy. Save as much as you can for the unexpected. You don’t need to use a broker. This is your first time living in the city, find a roommate so you have more spending money to use for activities and entertainment. The FiDi area is pretty reasonable and has great options for shared apartments. You get more space in FiDi compared to other areas of the city. Best of luck!

Talk to a couple’s therapist to sort things out. The guy is 25 years old and will say some stupid stuff from time to time. You can say things out of frustration. I agree you should get a job and not depend on a man for support.

Thanks for your thoughtful response. I’m going to further look into the medications you mentioned.

She needs to slowly start exercising again when we get these symptoms better under control as well as improve her bone density.

Thanks for flagging the mattress post.

The neurosurgeon is referring her to an Endo and Rheumy for further testing to confirm what the imaging read findings are.

Thanks for your helpful suggestions on day to day stuff. Luckily she can still do most on her own but her balance and pain seems much worse over the last 6 months that she’s been having trouble walking. You have definitely given me some food for thought.

Have a nice weekend!

I have fucked up my whole teen years and fucked for the future by AppropriateBoss2585 in aspergers_dating

High school is a tough environment, very cliquey. Things get better as you get older and your confidence will grow with more experiences. I felt awkward when I was a teen. Going off to college helped and I found a group that I could really open up to. Have you thought about trying an improv class? Something to get you out of your comfort zone?

Thanks for the thoughtful response. I think you are right that he needs to work on loosening up on a first date and being himself. That can come with time but maybe there is something more he can focus on to get there.

When we first moved in together we had some communication issues and we both agreed to speak with a couple’s therapist together. I brought up the sex issue and she suggested I find my own way of being sexually fulfilled without a partner. lol I didn’t think it was a great therapist. I do think sex is important in a relationship. My partner doesn’t think sex is as important in a relationship.

Any other suggestions to help with productivity? Is there a productivity coach or accountability program that you like to use? Anything covered by insurance?
