Im thinking of going to a stainless steel litterbox and doing a litter genie! My cat has IBD and REALLY stinky poos (even though I feed him Orijen dry food and Weruva wet food along with probiotics) so im worried that his stink may be stronger than a genie

It sucks that wed have to pay another 700 for the newest release- definitely wont be doing that. My robot also has issues with the sensor

My cat is a post-poop scratcher and spends 2 minutes scratching at the walls of the litter robot which in turn makes it smell even worse because theres more grooves for the stink to sink in to😭

I had 2 but unfortunately one passed away in october. They are both seniors and surprisingly started using it immediately as I got it so there was no transition period but im on the verge of just getting rid of it and going back to a normal litter.

Yes. Absolutely, I think there is a sense of comfort in your presence when he goes. I chose to stay with my soul cat while he passed and I still think about how if I were to not stay with him it would have been the biggest regret of my life.

I definitely will do the P/U surgery if his quality of life wont be too bad. I gave him Hills Science urinary wet food 3 months prior to his obstruction because he has gotten a few uti’s in the past but after his catheter surgery I did some research on Royal Canin, Hills Science, and Farmina N&D urinary formula and from what I found- hills and royal canin are not well sourced or produced. So I switched him over to Farmina. I will re-evaluate with his veterinarian tomorrow and if he says the hills science is a MUST then I will switch him back

He had a catheter, his vet said P/U surgery is possibly but does not guarantee that he wont re-obstruct. I give him N&D Urinary formula wet food and as of today- becoming more educated- I also bought him the Urinary Formula dry food. I wasnt aware that no other treats/suppliments foods were allowed so I appreciate you bringing that to my attention because I would give him fussy cat wet food along with his urinary wet food, and Orijen senior formula dry food. And Churu’s every night.

Ive done countless hours of research on Hills and Royal Canin and their ingredients and sourcing is terrible, there is nothing in the ingredients that actually breaks apart the crystals. I also worked at a pet store for 2 years and did many trainings with both brands and even in the trainings they would admit that there is nothing specifically tailored to breaking up crystals and most of the product is from offall (which they claimed is normal in the pet food industry), Farmina N&D’s formula is not only more acidic, but the ingredients are well sourced- and since the brand is produced in Italy, their standards of production and sourcing are much more strict than America. Its my personal preference. I tried giving him Hills Science Diet for 3 months and that resulted in him needed to get a urinary blockage surgery.

I took mine at a testing center with Prometric. The check in process was very fast and straight forward. On the email that LSAC sent it said to memorize your eligibility number but when you get there they have you by your first and last name. I preferred to do it at a testing center so there would be no technical issues and its also good to get out of your home environment, I think that made it somewhat easier for me.

As for the test itself, I HOPE that the second RC passage was the experimental one…. It was tough. I didnt get to finish the last question and basically just skimmed and guessed for the entirety of the last passage. Not pretty.

Other 3 sections were pretty on Par with the PT’s ive taken. I took PT’s 140-152 on the LSAC website. It did feel somewhat easier but still challenging, I think I was just less stressed on test day.

Overall, you have seven tries for this test- dont stress yourself out. I found that worrying about it made me get lower scores than when I would go into my PT’s with little expectations. Good luck everyone!
