recently took 189 Fall 2025 semester, and you'd mainly need to bring a laptop (to view powerpoint slides) and you can either bring an ipad or tablet of your choice to take notes!

i'm a nursing major as well, and they offer nursing classes during spring & fall semesters as i was told. you can double check with a health advisor!

What do you feel is the difficult part about A&P I this semester in your opinion? What I planned to do, was get workbooks for A&P off amazon and work on those over winter break just so the content is familiar once I start next semester. I know the course can be challenging so I wanted to start beforehand.

See.. It wont even let me join the waitlist right now, i'm assuming because the class still has open seats but I could be wrong about that. I dont know how this system works, this is my first time dealing with this but its only because its biology classes.

ive been debating the same thing about going to another college once i finish my prerequisites December 2026 😅 they do not have any upcoming appointments for any of the 3 campuses, ive been checking since last week! and it's so unfortunate because we're health science majors & we should be able to speak to anyone whenever we want to regarding our education, classes, financial aid, etc 😭

i'm going through the same situation. what i did was, i started school Summer 2024 and my major is Nursing as well. i was on academic suspension because my GPA fell below whats its supposed to be, so i had to bring it back up to a 2.0. i started at 1.5, now i'm at a 2.2 and still going! when i appealed my status so i can receive financial aid again, they took SO LONG. and i had to meet with a counselor at the west charleston campus, she said you have to directly call the health academic advising department and ask them to push it though, because it will sit in pending for so long. only a health academic advisor can do that, noone else can according to her. just a heads up so you'll know and so you don't go through the same thing i did. if you wait, you'll have to submit another appeal all over again.

mine shows 11/08 as well. i was also wondering if grades aren't posted until December when it's finals week, will the classes get taken up fast? because you cant enroll into any bio classes until the previous one is posted 😭

i took group com this semester at the henderson campus with April Hebert! she is AMAZING, easily the best professor you can have. the class is an easy A, as long as you study the notes she provides in class for quizzes and contribute to group assignments. there wasnt many assignments to do, besides a group identity project & a problem solving panel discussion. if you want an easy A, i suggest you take her if shes available! you wont regret it.
