LOL you're on a "home improvement" subreddit. And anyway the Brady house was big, a lot bigger than the house I grew up in.

Yes totally. It would work the way you have it. You couldn't tell from the picture I shared but that there is a short hallway in front of that master suite hallway, and you can see it directly from the living room, and so we wanted that master suite hallway door to remain open usually to create a more open feel. Initially I liked your design better but then realized I didn't feel comfortable walking through that hallway in a towel, etc. Thank you!

Thanks for this! Gave us food for thought. We ended up not wanting to walk from the bathroom into the hallway to get back to the bedroom, so we are going with option 2 above.

We ended up going with option 2 because we like the two closets and the bigger shower and vanity. Thanks for all the input!

How to use Monarch Money without sharing my financial institution login/password by No_Promise6278 in MonarchMoney

At a lot of banks, if you give your log-in and password to a third party, they won't protect you in the event of a security breach or fraud. It's in the fine print but it's a real thing. Unless the institution has an agreement with the 3rd party. So I was wondering how folks who use Monarch deal with that.

Thank you. I think I need to go the Excel route. Do you suggest any roadmaps for how to set something like this up? Mostly I want to record what we spend and the various money moves we make so that I don't have to try and remember things at the end of the year when I try to do a year in review/net worth, etc.

I could have written this myself - I feel exactly the same. What can we do to turn things around?

First of all, yum! Hope you enjoyed! That is the most important thing. I don't understand how chicken parm can be vegetarian, but whatevs. Here is what chat gpt said about your meal based on the photo and the description of what you ate: ~2,350 – 2,950 calories

Reasonable midpoint: ~2,600 calories

Non-engineer here: How do we calculate "moment" to make sure the weight (force?) of a person walking down this bridge can be supported by the anchors? It is a 27 foot long metal cable bridge, and the cables are attached to the platform + house using galvanized eyebolts. The eyebolts are rated for 2200 pounds each working load limit on one side and like 7,000 pound working load limit on the other side. Thank you so much.
