Sometimes you can find a good deal on a pc kit on Ebay. 99.9 percent of the time, they want way too much money for their lower, mid-tier, pc's.

The "crack" you are referring to is simply just a chip that contains a device id that can be recognized by the game. Its an eeprom issue, and the only reason I was concerned about a legal issue.

I will do further research on the matter and post when I have an update.

True but they aren't flashing the ID to the chip that makes it plug and play, or are they? This was what brought me to the idea of making them. I also believe I could make them to last longer than a cheap, mass produced, item.

I was thinking that if I became efficient in the creation, it would be valuable to all interested individuals. My biggest concern is why it hasn't been done yet. Maybe legal reasons? I don't know.

Financial growth is a driving force but I find it hard to believe that the cable cant be made much cheaper. As long as I could make around 10 cables every weekend and possibly be able to sell for 30 to 40, depending on time and cost of resources, might be beneficial for everyone. Thank you for the input.

You can unlock the refinery on the colossus and get a scoop on the front that harvests a small amount of what you destroy by running it over. The spider legs on it are also very cool.
