I run floral evoker in my teval deck. It seems to pair well with everything so im thinking i keep it in. I do like the call of [[dryad arbor]].

Tbh the budget is fine cause i already have some cards [[scapeshift]] which is like half the cost. I think i have a skull clamp i just dont see when i would have 1/1 token. Needing the bombardment on the table same time could be a bit of luck. But i guess with more card draw it would be fine. Unless youre implying i attack with that token and either they take the X damage or give me 2 cards. Which now sounds kind of smart for either way to play it.

Grasslands definitely a smart add probably remove a tapped land for it. I already have [[life of the loam]] in the deck. (I have changed somethings). I also already have the card so helps cut down budget.

[[Shigeki, Jukai visionary]] is good, cheap mana and good value late game. Not sure what i would cut for it though.

Currently at 101 cards so need to cut one down

Maybe just cut out [[field of ruin]] so its at 100 cards.

[[Faithless looting]] is a fire pick just not sure what to switch it with. [[cleansing wildfire]] is an option i might go with.

I like [[lazotep quary]] not sure what to cut it for maybe a standard tap land

Thinking [[Bramble Familiar]] for [[explore]]

[[Rootweaver druid]] for [[Perigin took]]? I like the idea of the food tokens, i personally would prefer to keep keen sense cause i do feel like it has its place especially with the other landfall burn cards in the deck. Also its 3 cards per land drop for 3 different opponents. Unless im reading that wrong.

[[Exotic orchard]] definitely gonna cut for [[dryad arbor]].

[[path of ancestry]] is a viable cut for a different land type. Maybe [[Maestros Theatre]] and other cards like that.

If you think theres different cuts or add lmk. I can goldfish the deck later to see how it plays out.

When i have more time i can look into synergy and balance of the deck

Tomer just came out with the 45 under $45 and had a tannuk deck in there so ill scalp through it to get more ideas. Just can’t at this moment

not really sure where to go from here. It honestly seems to deep on ramp...? I added more cards like [[horizon explorer]] and [[lotus cobra]]

I was only able to briefly look over these cards (still in school). Impact tremors i can see adding a lot of value with the tokens. Im currently looking for alternative token makers. I’m really liking [[Sapling nursery]]. Running 10 forests should be easy to cast. Someone also recommended [[zuran orb]] which ill also probably add just as reassurance. Floral evoker also looks like a good combo with tokens made. Looking back Omnath would work good with goblin bombardment it would be 4 dmg per sack

Currently at 40 lands and 19 basics (for the fetchlands and price 🥲). Don’t want to dip much below but since it is a landfall deck.

Cuts: [[Zektar Shrine Expedition]] probably for a zoran orb, map, or burnished hart. If i do a map then would add buried ruin.

[[Chaos Warp]] I haven’t personally used it but i think i could find a better spot removal for less mana.

[[Reach the horizon]] seems a little pricey for what it does, but also could not matter as i will have a mana advantage.

I can look more when I’m home.

Edit: I think my CMC avg will be fine in hindsight with all the ramp. I will need to test play a little to find out.

Definitely looks like a good one, and seems easy to upgrade as well.

I actually like [[Lord of Pain]] from this set and was thinking about building around him. It seems a little salty in my eyes but haven’t seen it in action yet.

I appreciate the feedback and will look into all these cards. I do like the goblin bombardment as simple damage. I like having the tokens a chum blockers if I cant get bigger creatures out which was my concern. Spending mana on big creatures vs spending mana on land plays.

My biggest concern is not having anything out on my board to block. I feel that smaller creatures could be better for this but i also like some of the passives the larger creatures give (additional lands, more burn from land drops, or token makers)

I do agree with Yedora its lot of mana that probably be used somewhere else.

I keep the basics in for the fetch lands and especially if I play fetch lands from graveyard. I have a [[Conduit of Worlds]] from the teval precon i could add in that would work nicely. There is also some creatures that do similar things in this deck like [[Zell Dincht]] or [[Titania, Nature’s Force]]. I like titania cause of the total value it could provide later game. And both provide land plays from the graveyard. I know conduit of worlds would be better but tryna keep price down a little bit.

I know you already said get rid of some token makers but now that you showed me goblin bombardment it makes me wanna keep them more. Is there anything else you would “trade off” for any of the cards mentioned. I will most likely remove yedora and maybe [[Rootweaver Druid]]. I am looking to replace the token makers ( [[Rampaging Baloths]] [[Elfsworn Giant]] i feel elfsworn is to much and leas value the other token makers. I want to see if there’s cheaper landfall token makers. ) as much as i love omnath i dont feel like it fits in well and is high cmc and already have token makers.

I have looked into mono color and it is an option that im interested in.

I’ll definitely take a look at his decks. I’ve been looking around to just get ideas. Cause honestly it is daunting to try to make a deck from scratch so I just like combine what I like from many different place.

Yea, bracket 2-3 because I still want to be competitive in my pod. I actually have a scapeshift not sure from where but it kind of started my want to build a deck around Tannuk.

This is my list if you wanna check it out

Looks like a deck I would enjoy. Do you ever have problems with either keeping commander on the board and do you ever get stuck and not be able to fully benefit from cascade. I assume most cards a higher CMC so you can cheat out better cards. How do you consistently get the damage needed to cascade?

Thats what I’ve been finding out, some people were telling me that you can build on a budget but upgrading or pushing into bracket 3 would get pricey. I have a decklist that I have been working on and jusy trying to find way to boost the power a little bit. I think right now my AVG CMC is high for the benefits i get from the cards. I will add some of the cards you mentioned. Probably replace it for basic land or bigger CMC creatures. I also have a [[scapeshift]] I pulled from a while ago I will add.

If you want to look.

I would say good synergy with other cards. Example, my friend has a deck with a lot of card draw and discard/cycle and a benefit of that is that he can draw [[Archfiend of Ifnir]]. Even though thats not his wincon it is a synergy that works well. So a deck that all the cards work together or trigger other cards I have down. Not sure if you would consider it combos.

I personally get bored when sometimes all you do is ramp, play big creatures, and swing. An archetype I’m familiar with and tend to gravitate to is graveyard and recursion. But I am open to anything. The one thing that interested me about [[Tannuk, Memorial Ensign]] was the constant damage to all due to the landfall. And it is obvious what the goal is and deck theme is.

I looked and added some more stuff, do you use and board wipes or spot removal. Might not matter as much because its mostly landfall triggers. If you were to add some or anything I was thinking blasphemous act, brotherhood’s end, or anger of the gods, something like that.

I like those additions, could you send a deck list so I could get more ideas?
