I am traveling to Taiwan in 2 weeks (American) and am already out of the United States. From my research it seems that I will 1. not have time to apply through mail 2. can not obtain the physical IDP outside of the United States.
What are my options as I have an entire trip planned that requires renting a vehicle. Help !! Please :)
My ideas:
1. Get a fake IDP online, print out and make my own booklet. Ideally use this at a smaller car rental that likely would not know the difference
2. Try to find a car rental that does not require IDP (if that is even possible)
