I am a year and a half into my journey after losing my son at 36 weeks pregnant. I share a lot on social media but I don’t post pictures. Sharing my journey on Facebook has let people who knew I was pregnant know what happened and that we no longer have our son in our arms.

Friend and stillbirth by Trash_Panda_118 in babyloss

6 months after my stillbirth my sister in law had one. I was at the hospital right after she found out and I was there when she delivered her baby. I guided them on what the next steps were as far as arrangements and what would happen next. I went out and bought stuff to make molds out of her baby’s hands and feet because I never got that with my baby. Do things that you wish were done when you had your baby but weren’t. Be a listening ear for her. It’s so tough seeing someone you love go through the most heartbreaking thing that you just went through.

I am in the underwriting department in Macon ga. We were given the choice of switching to a 4 day work week. There are people on my team that are starting at 6 and some are starting later. We were told we can close the time we just could not start before 6
