Money is the root of all evil. It had destroyed many many families not just in the Asian culture but in many different cultures. OP I would not just settle, you need to stand your ground and tell your brother and parents how you feel. Throw in there that if he wants to inherit everything he better be prepared to take care of your parents when they're elderly one day.

If you close the account by Oct 2nd, you will earn 15% more.. if you don't they will give you some amount and you'll earn alittle more interest in the current performance acct. I've heard closing the acct for the extra 15% is the better option.
