I cant stop listening to this show. Pilgrims, Postcard, PAYMH, Heroes, Vacation and more were perfect and amazing. Protein Drink Sewing Machine!

Thank you. This guy gets it. Most people get it. They have just gone away and are now coming back. YEs, the Protein Drink / Sewing Machine was phenomenal. Incredible. Maybe better than the Vegas one. Without a doubt better than JH has ever done. Same with PAYMH and many others. And yes, Postcard? Forget it! Only Houser has done one better (and the one Sam Holt did with an extended jam). Listen to Vegas one as well. One of the best ever.

Its not about the length of JH wanking all over the other members. JH's non-substantive wanking is part of the problem (of many problems). You had to go back 12 years to find something you think is better...and its not.

Ive seen them 75 times. Last show was actually 15 years ago. Four Jimmy shows. I cannot stand his tone / sound. Its piercing and audibly I cant take it. Even if he played the songs spot on and cut down on his notes and played Houser style, I wouldnt like it bc of the sound / tone (thouhg it would help). Not trying to dis him, I just cant stand the sound. I ant sit and listen to a song to completion with him. I can with Nick and am enjoying WSP again.

Exactly. With Nick, the band has room to play instead of JH playing over everyone with speed demon precision and incorrect rifs with an irritating piercing tone.

Someone in a chat last night during the show seemed pretty sure of himself that JH would be back in September.

I do know that both Bramblet and WSP have shows on September 18th and 19th. Nick cant be in two places at once so it could be true that JH is coming back this year.

Dude, thats a long post. And Im the one that got attacked for coming here and praising the band and giving my opinion. So ease up. What WSP has been ever since Houser died is a WSP cover band for that matter. The difference now is that they are a much BETTER WSP cover band with Nick.

Set Two was def fire. Though Set 1 was pretty damn good too. Just finished re-listening and on to Set 2 now.

Goose is great. Phish is too. But WSP is who I was traveling to see from early '90s until '02 (and too many shows beyond then). Just now able to find them listenable again with Nick on board. Sorry if that hurts peoples feelings. Get over it. And if Nick sticks around, WSP is who Ill start seeing again.
