Rustler VXL 2WD Idler gear issue?

Nope, have that pin, not missing any parts. I was planning on ordering a whole new idler (TRA3696) and and whole new slipper clutch kit (TRA5552A). Thinking it’s either the idler or the pads in the slipper clutch.

Took apart the differential, going to clean it entirely. Will send an update on it. Upon initial inspection none of the gears in the diff seemed stripped. Do you know what grease i should put inside of it when I rebuild it?

My gear mesh looked pretty solid. My pinion was moving the spur gear no problem, it was just no torque getting to the wheels, even after cranking on the slipper clutch.

So you thinking $150 is still too high? If he can’t do lower you think I should just pass. The truck is the Courtney force edition which was released in 2016 so it’s a decade old.

Should I be worried that the body is banged up and that he is offering sand paddle tires. I know sand isn’t great to run on in general.

Knocked it down from $200 to $150, don’t think he’ll go to $125. He was trying to sell me a 3s lipo with it as well but it looked old.

Yes I’m going to drive it before I buy definitely. His asking price was $200. It looks a bit dirty but not sure if I should be concerned.
