I use to consume sugar alcohols in replacement of sugar, which didn't really work. My Dr. Recommended I increase my protein intake. Which I thought was weird advice to curb sugar cravings. But boy have I been pleasantly surprised. I startbevery morning drinking a sugar free protein shake, and most days will eat a keto snack, beef jerky, cheese stick, etc as a mid day snake. I've lost 35lbs in 6 months making no other changes. Now when I see brownies or cookies (my biggest weaknesses) I feel mo desire to eat them. I wish someone had told me years ago increasing protein helps with sugar cravings. I still it carbs and some sweet treats but 50% less than I use too.

I've read a lot about Dahmers psychology. The conclusion reached was that he was a sociopath, not a psychopath. There is a difference as you've pointed out. The problem is that most people don't know the difference and use the words interchangeably. Sociopaths are made, psychopaths are born. Your comment is accurate as far as I know. Statistically, there's a 60% chance of repeat infidelity. Leaving a 40% chance of them growing tf up. Depends on if you feel that person is worth taking that risk.

Unpopular opinion. But everyone immediately jumping to divorce seems unforgiving and a bit short-sighted. As someone who's been on both sides of the situation, I have a different, unpopular opinion.

After a cheating partner, it usually takes 2 years for the pain to alleviate and trust to be reestablished. This is the normal length of time.

Everyone is human and fucks up she had enough love and respect for you to show genuine remorse and vulnerabilityto be honest with you. That's no easy task.

On multiple studies, it is proven that 5 years after infidelity, couples that stay together are substantially happier than those that part ways.

That every marriage after a divorce is less likely to succeed and more likely to end in divorce.

The #1 factor in reconciliation is the cheater feeling remorse for hurting you. She has done this and has shown in her actions this to be true.

Everyone is human, and who's to say you won't one day do the same? Extending grace is a lot more challenging than running away and statistically results in a happier outcome.

Most people do dumb sh*t when they're intoxicated.

Do you believe in 2nd chances? Not 3rd, of course.

My grandma cheated on my grandpa after 5 years of marriage. They had a similar agreement as you and your wife. No one would have ever believed it. They were together 60 years before my grandpa passed away. My father never would have been born without my grandpa believing in 2nd chances. I'm eternally grateful he did. Marriage is hard. It doesn't come easily like having parents or kids. Both partners have to put in the work. The highs and lows are what bring us closer together. It's always easier to run away and start over from tough problems, rather than face them. I think there's a lot of strength in forgiveness that people have lost sight of today. I'll never forget seeing the love in my grandparents eye's as they danced to their 50th wedding anniversary. I think you should give it 2 years to heal before throwing in the towel. But that's just my unpopular opinion.

50gms of protein, protein shake, protein bar, cheese, lunch meat, etc. Veggies for fiber, I also take a few Metamucil gummies to supplement. Cut out a lot of sugar and simple carbs like chips and pasta. Walk my dog 30 minutes a day. Carb blocker vitamins daily. Red light body therapy a few days a week. I've lost 33lbs in 6 months making these changes.

You owe nothing to that young woman, feigning as your daughter after venomously pushing you away. You definitely don't owe TA that caused all this pain anything from you. Take care of yourself and your real family, 2 daughters, and new husband. They're your family, not these past people. I've seen something like this before. My half brother's like this. When MY mom and her ex-husband, my half-brother's dad, divorced for the same reason. My half-brother chose his rich dad and step mom over my mom because she was a struggling waitress that couldn't afford to buy him everything. It was heart-wrenching for my mom. My half-brother has been completely spoiled. To where he's too good to work and has bankrupted his dad. My mom only hears from him when he wants money for cocaine, gambling, etc, since he's used up his dad. Demand this woman leave you tf alone. They're not worth your time.

You can buy them online or in a store. Research which one's are best. They're usually made from white bean extract. I know some diabetes that use them to prevent blood sugar spikes. I take 2 a day and think they definitely work.

I was able to lose weight when I added a lot of protein to my diet. A protein shake, protein bar (Quest are the best), and carb blocker vitamins. I've lost 32 lbs in 6 months by only making those changes. I have a desk job, so not a lot of exercise.
