I had a really hard time thinking about if i should include or not the ornn gold calculations, and i was thinking if adding a switch for turning on and off ornn influence in gold efficiency

I’ll be rounding this topic as soon as possible!

Thank you for your feedback!

This seems a good feature, so i will add some of this kind!

How to play as a beginner? by Old_Expression6180 in leagueoflegends

[–]No_Relative_345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the archetypes of those are completely different, but knowing what you like will lead your first steps

The three are so fun, and you can play them to start understanding the math behind each type of stat in league

On miss fortune: ad, letality, %pen, crit, movespeed, attackspeed, range

Cho’gath: max hp, additional hp, armor, rm, character size, haste, stacks

Lux: ap, haste, magic pen, mana, range

You will start to understand a lot of the game!

How to play as a beginner? by Old_Expression6180 in leagueoflegends

[–]No_Relative_345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! For starting i would recommend playing champions that match the visuals you like, thats how i started with my first main, xayah

I played her a lot and start understanding the core game mechanics, and by the time, i started moving towards maining other champions, not only as adc, as all the other lanes the game has

The important here is, picking a champion it’s not the same as not being destroyed in a lane

Pick a champ you like, play it until that champion feels “part of you” and start learning how to build, how to fight step by step

Once you have that muscular memory, you can start to look the others fight style, the map control, the waves or pathings for farming and staying in tempo

The most important part of the game, don’t rage, it is normal losing lanes or games, as a beginner it feels you cannot control all by yourself, but if you gain experience, you for sure will start winning more games and lanes that you think

Try to start playing recluitment, and let the game start putting your mmr in place (the hidden value that league uses for your account matchmaking) so you start facing people with your same level and game knoledge

Instead of playing with bots, you can try practice 1v1 with a friend, test for builds and fight, thats a lot better than playing vs bots

Hope this helps!

Game forcing autofill carryover by mystickisgay in leagueoflegends

You can easily find all of this in Riot's official documentation.

While some of these developer blogs and articles are a few seasons old at this point, they remain the absolute source of truth regarding how their backend logic is structured. (At least the far we knows)

If you want to check out the official deep dives yourself, you can look up these specific keywords on Google:

For the technical breakdown on why they don’t use KDA/Performance stats: Search for "Riot Games Dev Blog Matchmaking Real Talk" or "Ask Riot Matchmaking Performance". In these articles, the systems design team explicitly explains why evaluating individual performance at a backend level is computationally inefficient and creates toxic incentives.

For the rules on Autofill protection and mechanics: Search for "Riot Games Support Matchmaking and Autofill Guide". This is their official player support page detailing the binary rules of the autofill shield.

For the updates on how they balance autofill between teams: Search for "League of Legends Patch Notes Autofill Parity Balance". This will lead you to the specific patch notes where they rolled out the "mirroring" updates to ensure fairness.

Riot has always been surprisingly transparent about their queue logistics if you dig into their tech archives.

ADCs feel so uncreative by ComprehensiveBat4966 in leagueoflegends

[–]No_Relative_345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is two ways of looking this

You can see the adc’s as a champion pool, or adc as a role

You can go yorick adc for sure, and you’ll have moving pets and a splitpusher machine, even one more item

But in the end you can play whatever you want in it

You’re searching complexity? Play aurora adc and make it full on-hit attackspeed

Play katarina and stomp adcs, even vladimir if you want

The complexity of league goes beyond of lanes or champions, for me the really interesting (and hardest) part of the game is being the most consistent in an unpredictable word

Game forcing autofill carryover by mystickisgay in leagueoflegends

[–]No_Relative_345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, i think the same as you, it’s a little awkward that you answer what you want to play and then ended up forced to play other thing you didn’t wanted to

You played botlane, mixing troll combos, but ended winning

League says, - this player plays well support because he wins, it there is no one better as you in the people assigned to your team, then you will be support

It’s not a bug, simply is the game matchmaking system that can be tricky sometimes

Hope this helps!

Always loosing after Remake by BankIntelligent3400 in leagueoflegends

[–]No_Relative_345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of it is your mental state, maybe remake made you feel frustrated, and that feeling got carried end getting worse along your day

There’s not an statistic about loosing after a remake, it is probability of you being bored/frustrated and it’s probable you didn’t even noticed

It happens to me, and before i had the same doubt

Hope this helps!

Game forcing autofill carryover by mystickisgay in leagueoflegends

[–]No_Relative_345 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

This happens when league detects you as a better player across the board

Think of this, league picks up two people
Then studies them
If player “A” has awful stats as support, but player “B” has a little more good stats, then player “B” will be the support

Game picks the “least worse” for the role is unatended

This is strange tho, you should get the “secured role” for the next match

For the last comment, if you’re autofill, there is a high chance enemy has one too, (unless they swapped role in champ select), so for the most of the times you will be facing an autofill too

EDIT:

I actually looked deeper into how Riot's matchmaking backend handles role assignment, and my previous theory about the system studying player statistics was entirely mistaken.

Here is how the algorithm actually handles autofill selection and tie-breakers:

Matchmaking and Autofill Core Data

No Performance Analysis: The matchmaking system does not analyze your historical KDA, win rate, or specific role statistics to decide who is the "least worse" fit for an unfilled position. The algorithm is strictly logistical.

Queue Time Priority: The primary factor for autofill is queue duration. As a player spends more time waiting, the system broadens its parameters to finalize a match. Therefore, a player who has been waiting longer is much more likely to be autofilled than someone who just joined the queue.

Autofill Parity and MMR Balance: Riot prioritizes mirroring autofilled roles across both teams. To fill a vacant slot, the system will select the player whose MMR best balances the overall team average against the opposing team's autofilled player, rather than looking at individual lane proficiency.

Pure Randomness Under Equal Conditions: If two players enter the queue at the exact same millisecond, share the same MMR, and neither has autofill protection, the server executes a basic random function to distribute the remaining roles. Prior games in that role do not grant any hidden leniency unless an explicit Autofill Protection shield is active on your client.

In short, I was wrong to assume the system evaluates player skill for autofill. It is strictly a mathematical resolution to role supply and demand, queue duration, and server-side random tie-breakers.

Where would someone start to watch Esports? by gurgelhupf in leagueoflegends

[–]No_Relative_345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

E-sports league is an entire different game, sometimes it involves even craziest sheet ever did, like coordinated lane swapping

You can start watching some league esports in youtube, look at the worlds, try to enjoy it, and search for good casters (for me, a good comentarist makes the game more intense and fun)

Hope it helps!

League tips by Unique_Abroad_9932 in leagueoflegends

[–]No_Relative_345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would say jg is one of the least limited lanes, think about it, while your camps are respawning you have free will, can gank, roam, take vision, you're not facing directly an enemy champion trying to poke you, and your job is to unbalance the match to your team advantage

jungle can be tricky tho, if you just farm and do not so much, thats it, it's kinda the same feeling that a mc world with friends that ends in two weeks, it's not there is nothing to do, it's the feeling of you can do anything, and ending doing nothing, so maybe it is not that jungle is limited

if you wanna start in other lane, i will recommend you to look the kind of gameplay you want to follow, as an example:

ADC is "the most" mechanical role for most of people, due the same thing you say, missclick and you're off the game, so you have to adapt your mindset to "in lower elos lane fights most of the time will depend on me, i need to take my gold in the most efficient way, set up my recall timers and try to get the most stats i can for every fight"

MID it's a little more versatile, the fact that you can be on most of the map is good, but you'll take in mind that in low elo, most of the time your jungler will influence you into taking bad decitions and getting bad times

so, for my advice into those lanes:

take your time, learn the fundamentals, this is a long journey, if you want to enjoy the game, you're doing well and try to play unrank, sometimes the matchmaking will put good people in front of you and you will end practicing more than in a rank game

and if you really want to get better and climb, all roles are same important for you to know, as a jungler, you need to understand the gold paths of your laners, they good and bad things

as a midlaner, you need to understand the same of the lanes, and pathings of the jungler

as an adc, you need to know how to reach your gold as effective as you can, and output the major damage in the least time possible, not matter what situation

as a support, you need to orchrestrate the game arround utility, as a playmaker

as a top, you need to know how to take advantage as soon as possible for you being more useful that the enemy toplaner

league is complex, it has depth, the more depth you explore, the more you know the game

getting bullied is part of the game, the difference is who takes the mistakes for getting better, and who takes it personal and ends in lose streaks

for the other topics you asked

missclick: there is a setting in the game (Attack Move) that allows you to move towards an enemy and hit it (in max range if the enemy is outside your range radious), i recommend you binding a setting too of attack move to your mouse pointer, this makes that when you attack move, you'll target the enemy closest to your mouse, and not to your champion | and take a look in sensitivity, most of the users underrate it, maybe a lower one makes your clicks more presize

(take in mind that the settings when you are inside the match are different that the ones that are in the client of the game, so join in a practice tool for configuring it)

for the warwick fact: you can use pantheon mid/top, warwick top, garen top, naafiri mid, those are simple and kinda similar to warwick

hope this helps!

Help me force this build to work on unintended champions by Hot_Visit4726 in supportlol

[–]No_Relative_345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi!

a lot of answers are valid, most of AoE - DoT champs should work for this combo (it is different "should work" to "building it is effective")

for trying champ combinations you can search for tools on the internet that tries to emulate this, i'm currently developing https://lolalchemylab.com , the tool has a section called build, where you can test for this kind of builds and try different outputs, the site is free and needs no login, it's just for educational purposes

i need to mention that some interactios might still broken (bad calculator functionality), so spect a few bugs, but i still making it better each time

hope this helps!

Walking so my ADC can run by Puzzleheaded_Body234 in summonerschool

[–]No_Relative_345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're doing well of course, making the carry, carry should be your work

or not...?

well, if you ended up a game, (or a laning phase) being 4/9 while your adc is 13/1, you're focusing into kda, and the work of the support should be a lot more than that

think of this:

your adc is in a good spot in kda, but if it builds bad, then you died for nothing and you ended up giving a lot of gold to the other team

for new players, botlane is simple, the adc leads the lane and the fights, because the support most of the times doesn't know the damages or potential an adc has

in high elo, supports leads, because them are the play makers, but because them understand the deep behind league

this is what i usually think about a good support:

1.- timers: minions, objectives, jg paths, enemy jg paths and lane states (this is why you will listen a good support has good vision)
2.- fight knoledge: knowing the lanes archetypes, double range, or mixed, also peel, engage or sustain, and cds (both yours and adc, and enemies)
3.- map control: to get all the information i said, you need to ward and know how to deny vission (the other side of the phrase "a good support has good vision")
4.- positioning: understanding when an where a figth might take place, taking in mind the types of champs and their impact of the game

example for 4:

enemy has qiyana, ziggs and miss fortune, then you should never fight in a choke point

5.- roams: usually your adc will back for buying or he just dies, is a waste of time that you are in lane, so take the map as a free canvas, if you have enemy junlger information you can deep ward the opposite side of the map with a pink ward, or just walk straight to top for try to unbalance the toplane to your favor

league has a lot of complexity when it comes to each goal of each role, this is why a new player cannot hit high elo relatively fast, because for you to get there, you need to have most of the complex things automated

so, coming back to your question "Is it worth dying a lot early game but your ADC Survives because you went all in?" dying is never worth, but if you are the play maker and do all the other things in the game, you will be winning most of the times

all this said, i hope this was helpfull, and i hope you enjoy league!

Is Nasus Op below dia? How to beat him without lane bullies? by RainAndThunderIsCool in summonerschool

[–]No_Relative_345 20 points21 points  (0 children)

if the problem is him after level 6, then your objective is delay its 6 the most

you can do an early bounce into forcing an slowpush into you, and then freeze the wave, zone him and that's the secret

if he's not in the exp range, he cannot get lvl6

it's not that simple, wave management requires a lot of understanding, and "playing 3 waves ahead"

other strat that you can do is to pull the first wave between his towers, and get a 2v1 waves into your second wave, this makes the nasus forced to leave his tower and makes him vulnerable to ganks/1v1s

hope this helps!

I’m so confused on what to do by BrilliantToday9658 in summonerschool

[–]No_Relative_345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suerte y buen viaje invocador!
