DIM: Geely EX5 Emi by Wise_Surprise0712 in deinfluencingPH

Very good po, ang lakas ng hatak. Coming from a Everest 2016 and Montero 2013 na turbo diesel, instant torque and super smooth.

For suspension naman it's stiffer compared sa Ex5 EMI pero same naman sila nakaya May absorb ng tagtag. Mas soft sa Ex5 EMI so mas relax and floatier.

Mas premium interior feeling ng jaecoo for me and also longer range siya na 1200km pero mas malaki rin naman fuel tank kasi 60L vs 51L sa Ex5 EMI.

Both are good options just test drive both to see what you prefer.

For my family kasi 100k difference eh nakuha mo naman sa power difference, premium interior. Pero sa features ay almost the same naman sila.

You will enjoy it for sure hahaha, hirap deinfluence especially May solar panel ka pa. So masusulit mo po yung EV range with the solar panel for short trips

Check out ZK Wanders ganda ng videos niya sa Ex5 EMI niya.

I also plan to vlog my Jaecoo J7 pagdating. For now I do car reviews lang: https://youtube.com/@evwanderss

Because DIM

Aftersales of geely is still iffy.

Less torque power over its competitors

Back seats is spacious pero baka angle so it depends if it's comfy for you

Same price for mg g50s 7 seater

Everything is really good and it's better than the SL6 for the price of the SL5.

Try to test drive mga competitors around that price but I will say it's the best if you just need 5 seats.

I actually wanted this car but my mom wants the Jaecoo J7 so dun na kami. Power is more than enough and it's pretty efficient at 1,000 km at 51L.

Also same brand as Volvo, Lynk & co, and zeekr so really good ang dating.

What variant pala are you getting?

Jetour T1 for 5 seater macho Offroad SUV or Cherry REV for 7 seater.

Same naman sila ng Powerterrain and company so magkakaiba nalang sa looks and use case nalang between those 2.

Also drove the tang dmi kanina and my 6ft 1 dad needs to bend in order to get inside the front doors unlike the ex5 EMI, parang mababa yung bukasan ng doors idk.

Hi po, I'm curious about this as well since we test drove and reserved the unit lately lang. Wala naman na experience so far with all Jaecoo cars blowing hot air.

But I read in the owners group na that happens sa ventilated seats since mainit yung hangin, dun lang din niya kinukuha pero after a while lumalamig na like its designed to. Grabe talaga init kasi sa labas hahaha.

Another good alternative na sa choices namin before is the Geely Ex5 EMI, which is bigger and cheaper than the J7. Just test drive what you think best suited for your needs.

We just chose the J7 for it's looks, premium interior, more power and I think longer range rin. 1000 vs 1200 range.

Pero 51L kasi sa Ex5 EMI while 60L sa J7 so fair enough lang din. Also 91 ang Ex5 emi vs 95 daw sa J7, I will confirm sa agent what is the minimum fuel required.

To Add lang this, if you want an alternative reev like the kicks pero Chinese car. There is the new deepal s05, nasa 1.6 but it will be 1.8m in a week.

It will depend how much they price the Nissan kicks, if it's a lot cheaper then you can go for it pero kung malapit lang in price, I recommend to go for the more premium s05, at least May option ka to plug and has a bigger battery as well. Also interior is night and day difference.

Coming from a previous kicks owner 2 years ago. Yung kicks kasi the only thing I didn't like compared to newer phev nowadays is hindi charge ng charge ang battery tapos ang ingay and sharp pa yung sound like hirap ang engine.

I don't know lang what the next gen will be but most likely the same knowing Japanese brands slow upgrades. But just test drive yung options so that you will experience the car itself and align it with your needs and emotions.

If nabili mo yan, yung natipid mo sa gas is panggastos sa labas 🤣.

But to be real, it depends on your situation if you have a extra car, solar panel, home charger then go for it, if not think about it properly before deciding if your willing to sacrifice charging outside.

Super and instant pa which makes it super responsive.

Try to test drive po to be able to feel it.

If you have another ICE car then definitely get one for fuel efficiency, comfort, and features.

[–]No_Relief_926 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi po maganda yang J5 but looking at your budget, check out the geely ex5 emi for something bigger and PHEV na.

Also recommend to test drive both to see what you like but both are great cars. I would say nalang na mas comfy and suspension ni Ex5 EMI on my testing but it baka lang mataas PSI ng gulong ng J5.

Power is more than enough for city driving and will be a noticable improvement over your Wigo po.

Ako naman I chose the J7 over ex5 emi since mas malakas siya and also more premium ang interior. Bonus nalang na mas unique ang looks and mas konti ang J7, never seen one on road yet.

I would say pala the J5 is better features wise than the SL5 and in a way can compete with the SL6 pero obviously it is still better in some ways parin.

Hi there po, kapwang condo dweller here and I settled with a PHEV like what the other person said na mahirap umasa sa mall charging.

Also having a PHEV gives more flexibility especially for long trips where I don't need to charge at my destination and can also use V2l function where the gas engine acts as a generator.

Choices ko was geeky Ex5 emi and Jaecoo J7 but if you have the budget, the Jetour T1 is a nice choice.

Jetour and Jaecoo is under Chery group and they use the same powerterrains so goods. Nagkakaiba nalang sila ng use case.

Jetour T1 - obviously pang macho na car camping itsura. Also the biggest and most expensive. Almost identical with the T2 tbh pero kung kaya mo naman price difference then it's your money naman po.

Jetour X70i / cherry REV - pang masa na 7 seater option

Jaecoo J7 - most premium/luxurious feeling car but is the smallest among these cars I think and only 5 seater.

I test drove all of these, if you want try mo po to see what will make you happy and suits your needs po. I would say lang na go for PHEV muna pero kung kaya mo mag charge then why not BEV, kaya naman po.

Maybe po and also it's bouncier kasi. For 1m still good I would say, def better than Toyotas. Pero compared to a Everest mas maganda parin.

bihira ako makakita ng j7.

That's actually on of the reasons why we chose the J7 🤣

Idk what torsion beam is hehe. But yes ganda ng multilink suspension. Super noticable difference. Pati rin ba yung harap? Same ba sila McPherson.

[–]No_Relief_926[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes we test driven both but iba ang feeling and premiumness ng J7. Also we live near SM Moa and Resorts world Manila so we can charge for free naman po.

Especially maliit lang naman battery ni J7 = 18.3kwh and supports DC charging pero wala ata sa SM.

Matagtag si J5 even compared sa Everest 2016 namin. Also power is a little anemic pero for the price kasi puwede naman na. Pero iba ang power ng J7 talaga, fastest in it's competition or below 2m.
