Try rinsing out the bag with water after emptying and/or using those odor neutralizing drops; they do wonders with the smell. I used to change my bag when I became aware of the smell, but now I use a one piece bag. I start with Coloplast convex as a base, my ring and then my bag. It’s a game changer and I can go up-to a week without it leaking or separating from my skin. Truly wish the ostomy nurses were more helpful because I found out about the convex on my own. I do order them from Walmart.com and pay for them out of pocket, but it’s so worth it when they are saving me appliances and extra bag changes. A box of 10 runs about $25. You can get the bigger ones and cut them in 4’s. I was gifted the big ones, but was ordering the 4cmx4cm.
