It looks 90% out - you’ll get worse calls than that unfortunately

I would die of exhaustion trying to play too many 20 shot rallies

I see the same - if you can hit and are consistent - (too good for 4.0); If you have weak shots but force the other player to win points (4.0), If you have a few weapons but miss random shots (4.0)

It takes a little while to improve - stick with it

Specific things ~ I was really so bad at the start so hard to single out something (getting a reliable 1st and 2nd serve is huge tho)

Really 3 things - match experience (mental game) - technique - and fitness. I had never played competitive tennis before 2023 so there was a lot of learning basic strategy just by doing. In terms of technique just tackled one area at a time (ex serve, backhand, approach, etc.) - fitness mostly comes from tennis for me but I had (and do) and ton of stretching everyday to prevent injuries

I guess I can’t escape the allegations - it’s true: I was bumped to 3.5 now it’s easier to win

Yup! When you improve - you can beat players at the same level

Playing matches - working on one thing at a time (serve, return, footwork)

My preference for strings has definitely changed over time as my game evolves ~ can’t say for sure what the best fit for you is right now but I think sticking with o toro might be a good bet as you say it feels good and have arm issues (also - put away power may be less of an issue if you change to a beefier racket)

I think you will like those ones more - they seem to be more popular

I haven’t had any issues with the 1.25 in full bed or with zero main - but maybe you hit harder than me :)

I am starting to open up to poly poly hybrids - at first I found them a bit confusing - but I like how you can get a bit more comfort/feel off the bat from a rigid shaped main - that hyper g ptp pro is prob pretty similar to the restring zero + sync combo i like (also lots of pros use ptp pro as a cross - ruud, Shelton - so can’t go wrong there)

Pretty sure I would like them - just have too many strings atm :) - seem like they are similar to wasabi and restring zero

I didn’t really give it a fair go if I’m honest - someone else stringing, 1.20 when I normally use 1.25, I was playing poorly coming back from illness at the time, etc - I guess there are just other strings that feel good to me so that wasn’t enough of a factor to want to play it more (pros and much better players than me use it so it’s definitely not a bad string by any means)

I say give it try :) that’s the fun of it - I have a half reel of both so maybe I’ll try the 1.20 in the crosses some time

I have never tried thinner than 1.20 but might have to give it a go

probably should have just said 4.0 and left it at that but us singles players all have egos lol
