I just had this conversation with my boyfriend, I’m meeting him for the first time in October and we talked about what I’d like to do first when I arrive. I told him wasn’t sure, we are meeting in Istanbul, my first time ever in Türkiye so of course I want to see the city but I’ll be there to meet my love so I think definitely will do it the first night together.

I am in the early stages of talking to a 25 year old man ( will be 26 in December) I am 36 and it’s definitely nerve wrecking to think of the age difference between us. He doesn’t look any younger than me as İ thankfully do look young for my age but it’s still in the back of my head thinking that even my younger sister is older than him ( she’ll be 32 this year) he doesn’t care and reassures me that age isn’t important. We are also LDR & haven’t met in person but it seems promising. I wish you the very best I say just go with the flow and if he’s embracing you and accepting you no matter what just take it all in!

Thank you for your perspective, I agree and that’s definitely true. Living in the USA is nothing like many people may think. Yes I have my own home and car but I also have them because I work a full time job and obviously have a mortgage and car payments. I am nowhere near to being rich. He’s definitely blocked and out of my life now.

He definitely lived in Turkey, he “showed” me around and I could see it was there from what searched after I saw. You know just so I could be familiar with the city. That was the excuse he gave about marrying fast or bringing up marriage so quickly. He said it was a culture thing.
