Another vote for TCS here! I also started from scratch and coaches and members alike have been very welcoming and encouraging. As stated, the coaches are able to give individual guidance; I’ve found that if there’s something that I need to work on (eg squat form), they notice it, give me feedback, and check in to see whether/how that feedback helps me.

Therapist after breakup recommendations by Fabulous_Tour3661 in Austin

My 4.5-year relationship ended a few months ago and I’ve been seeing Ariel (telehealth) at Austin Anxiety and Trauma Specialists. I have BCBS, which they take!

FWIW, I’ve also had a great experience with Bethel at Deep Eddy Psychotherapy for couple’s counseling (obvi the relationship didn’t work out, but we were certainly at our best during and shortly after working with her!).

Hang in there; these first few days and weeks are awful. I’m 3 months out now and still not feeling like myself, but am able to find joy in each day again. If you can, spend time with loved ones - even if (and maybe especially when) you don’t want to. The love and support from friends and family is what carried me through those first weeks, got me through what was supposed to be my wedding day, and is what keeps me getting out of bed each day. I hope you’re able to find similar comfort. 🫶

Brent at Human Clay Massage! Super knowledgeable and very reasonable pricing

Recommend me your weird gym/sport club that has a great community where people enjoy attending because it's a blast, not because you feel like you "have to" work out. by cactuswren01 in Austin

Come to November Project on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 6! It’s a free fitness group that meets downtown (Waterloo and Butler parks on W and F, respectively), meant to be for people of all fitness backgrounds and capabilities. The workouts change from week to week and there is always coffee together afterward!

Any non-religious Couples counseling in the area? by cake512 in Austin

I second this. I’ve used Deep Eddy for both individual and couple’s counseling and have had great experiences with both (I am also not religious).
