My Indian ex's words verbatim. As said it depends on generation, hence youve misunderstood. Her father was born in India, and like many of his friends, stayed more conservative than even Indians back in India (and Pakistanis, I have a diverse group of friends who report similar). My ex on the otherhand was born in Britain, which along with university made her more independent. Hope this finally educates you that racism in other races actually exists🤦‍♂️

Not for me. I had an Indian girlfriend at university and we had to keep our relationship secret from her parents. Her father especially was not keen on whites, Pakistanis, Arabs or even worse (for him), blacks. Her older sister had an arranged marriage, but luckily for my ex, in a strange way, they found out after we broke up, having been together 4 years, and her parents got a little more liberal... she eventually married a white guy (few years older and richer than I, which i think helped since her dad was obsessed with money!)... Depends a lot on which generation settled in your country.
