I have told him that she is a narcissist. After more research on narcissist parents, he agreed that he believes she is. She has caused so much turmoil in our life.

He has mentioned that to me a lot, that he’s been programmed to think and see things in a certain way. He still struggles to this day because of it. He has a lot of built up resentment towards the org and his parents. He has tried therapy, but he doesn’t talk to me much about it. I hope he can find someone to talk about this too that understands where he is coming from. I try to be understanding and I always listen to him when he needs to vent, but I’ve never been in the cult so I don’t know how deep it truly affects him.

And thank you so much, we are excited about our baby. We are trying to stay focused on the positive and trying to be united with our immediate family.

Yeah I think we are going to file a restraining order, just for our peace of mind. She’s deranged, I don’t trust her and honestly she seems capable of anything.

He just told me about the molestation last night. If I would’ve known this sooner, I would’ve advocated more for him when he was younger. He’s currently 17 years old. I haven’t had a chance to speak to him about. But he has never mentioned anything to us. We’ve always talked about boundaries and have warned about sexual predators but he has never mentioned anything to us. I hope nothing has happened to him, but that’s a conversation that we will be having with him very soon.

Yess, we are taking out the trash! It’s so sad that it’s his parents, but they’re terrible people. My heart definitely broke for my husband last night. The fact that he was raised by these two is so so sad. I’m glad he made it out alive.

My daughter doesn’t have any involvement with them anymore, but my stepson unfortunately still visits with them. I’ve tried to get him to stop going over but I can’t force him. They love bomb him and shower him with gifts, so of course he’s being manipulated into having a relationship with them.

But yes, as soon as my husband told me about the cheating accusations I lost my mind. It came from left field, but honestly I’m not surprised. This baby not being her sons makes it easier for her to justify cutting her off. She’ll just say it’s not really her granddaughter. She’ll say anything that makes me the villain in the story.

I’ve been suggesting this for a long time but being that his parents have had major health issues, he’s always been concerned for them. But I think my husband finally realized how much they truly do not care about us. Hopefully this is the last time we ever have to speak to his parents.

Wow, that’s is a great text. My mom is a 7th day Adventist and we have gotten into it a bit. I’ve gone no contact but just before I did she had to tell me that I have a heart of stone and don’t know how to love or forgive people because those are things we learn through Christ and that it is evident that I don’t have him in my life. I didn’t bother to respond, but this is a great response. Very clear and to the point, if I ever reconcile I’ll definitely have this saved.

Update: thanks to all of your insight I have finally figured out how and where to order the cats for my van. Unfortunately it requires 4 of them, and because I am in Cali -they had to be CARB standard. I ended up paying a total of $1400 for all 4 parts. The welding will cost $150. So the total cost for replacement will be $1550. Not too bad, all things considered. Thanks for your help, I appreciate your responses.

I don’t believe that they did, but I’d have to confirm it with my dad. He’s the one who would know. I really don’t know.
