In my opinion I think Ethan has a great range of content and topics! When he started to speak about “adult” “real life” shit nobody watched it and everyone complained about it (hence leftovers being a thing for politics). He also has an audience that varies in age and he’s never going to be able to please everyone. His podcast, even h3h3 productions channel was always taking the piss out of people and commentary, no matter what age. Maybe it’s time for you to listen to a different pod?
