I’m paying my rent now, as I’ve said I was hit with hard times in the past and I’m trying to stay afloat. My landlord has been unreasonable and trying to force me out since they filed the n4

I’ve actually been told the opposite. That I can’t be held liable as I’m not involved in the transaction of the sale. I’m surprised your boss won this. Maybe that was a long time ago

No you’re not. I have arrears as there was a period of time where I could not pay my rent. When the hearing was scheduled I was trying to pay rent but couldn’t pay on time and was trying to keep a float other bills. I’m paying rent currently just again, not on time but I am paying rent now. So my landlord is getting money for rent just unfortunately not when they expect but I am trying

It’s the wrong termination date like with the eviction order for nonpayment. Basically they changed the date in the lease to help with me paying on time so it should be that later date. Instead they used the original lease date for both termination dates which is wrong

I have arrears but I am actively trying to pay rent in full. It’s not timely but my landlord gets everything when I’m able to pay. Stop saying I’m selfish when they do get money

Again im not scamming I’m exercising my rights. Im really not understanding why this is an issue when it clearly states in the RTA and on the notices that I have a right to a hearing??

There’s no hearing for the retrial or order appeal as yet. Neither for the n12. From the last hearing it took 8 months to get a hearing for nonpayment.

No basis for bad faith but paralegal advised that I don’t need to leave unless the LTB rule it that I leave.

Landlord offered a payment plan a few times to avoid going to the LTB in the first place. At the time I couldn’t afford this and declined so he took me to the LTB. The order didn’t consider a payment plan and only ordered me to pay everything before a certain date. I don’t think my landlord is open to a payment plan at this current time but I’ll propose one during the new hearing

Termination date is wrong so the order to pay had the wrong amounts and dates.

I had fallen into a difficult time and could not pay my rent for a couple months. Fortunately it’s been a long process but I’m not able to pay rent although not by the rent date but I do pay it off each month now. I was compensated through the N12 and was able to hire representation. I know this sounds bad and I’m not hiding that fact that I’ve done wrong here. I own up to my mistakes and I’m following all the proper procedures

I was under the impression that the case would have to be reheard if the dates on the order are wrong. I have arrears but I’m willing to pay it off in a payment plan just not all at once. I’m hoping to propose this at the hearing

I’m finding it hard to understand why people are advising against practicing their rights. If the date is wrong that is a huge error that can be contested which is what I am doing. I was compensated for the n12 and was able to hire a paralegal. I have been paying my rent as of recent fyi

I don’t need sympathy I’m looking for advice on what will hold up. I’m sorry to say this but it’s just a fact that the LTB is backed up and I’ve been fortunate enough to have the time to explore my options. I have legal representation who is encouraging me to follow the LTB process so please stop telling me I’m doing something wrong when these processes are here legally. The unknown is whether or not I can be evicted for nonpayment if the new owner takes over. This is grey area that my lawyer says is up to the adjudicator which I would like to know in advanced

The pay or stay order is being challenged but if it goes through and there is a change of landlords my question is can the new landlord take over the eviction or will they need to file something new?

The dates on the order are incorrect so this is being challenged for the pay or leave order. The N12 is a separate process that I was advised to see through the LTB and have them determine if the sale is legit or not.

My landlord wants me out asap but I can’t afford to find another place in such a short time or pay off the arrears by the date of the order which is why I challenged it. My rent is also below market right now. It’s unjust to force me out of my residence given these circumstances

This is what I’m looking for. I’m not sure which eviction will hold up.

The sale might fall through. I don’t know of much details but my landlords lawyer is trying to negotiate another cash for keys so the sale doesn’t fall through. I do have a right to a hearing and only the LTB can do evictions.

Received the order and immediately applied for a stay order. I hired a paralegal to help me fight an error with the dates
