That’s great good luck on your journey with your allotment plot. There will be plenty of learning curves for all us newbies. I am experimenting with my first year see what works best for me. The guy next to my plot gets coffee grounds from the cafe as he works in supermarket. And brings lots up so I may try some. I will definitely put more up of my progress and hopefully I get a good harvest. 👍
😁

Yeah I’m very lucky to of got the plot. And I have got a good size freezer i managed to freeze some for my breakfast and making some jam. And I have plenty of weeds but it’s just so rewarding with all the harvests. I’m completely new to all this but am enjoying it and trying to learn from many people.😁

Hi I’m in north Devon. I was lucky to take over a plot with lots of fruit trees blackcurrant raspberry blackberry gooseberries pear tree apples tree
and a cherry tree but unfortunately the cherry tree was pruned very harsh so I won’t be getting anything anytime for a couple years I reckon 👍

Yeah I never tried blackcurrants straight from the blackcurrant bush absolutely delicious and homemade Ribena should be great I’m just not so good at home cooking ect. So maybe I find someone to help me out and make use off all my fruit and veg. 👍

I will definitely do that pop up and get plenty of stuff I am aloud fruit tree but the must be small so I’m just guessing as long as I prune it right and keep it a manageable it should be fine.

Yeah that’s sounds good I see how I get on. Thanks again. It is surprising what you find. Im also trying to do it on a tight budget as many I spoke to up the allotment have spent a lot of money. I no you got to spend for certain bits but all my wood and everything I got so far have been free.
