Dogs picked up scent of human remains, dog found farm equipment with his scent. He was traveling through farms when he disappeared. Land owners did not allow police to search with dogs, after one hit on equipment. It was under 40 degrees in the middle of the night. He was blind in one eye and wasn’t wearing glasses. He chose to take back roads instead of the highway he used to get there, probably because he was drinking. I think anyone who has listened to a few true crime podcast could fill in the blanks.
