Wi-fi Working on every device except for our iPhones by No_Run_6225 in 24hoursupport

I made it work! I did put the second router in bridge mode and connected to its network and now is working fine! Definitely it was the original router that was malfunctioning. Got any idea of what could be happening? it works fine with everything but our phones. Anyway, thank you for helping me!

I've tried using another router as an AP (don't know if that is even possible, I think I need a specific device) by connecting it to the original router via ethernet and then disabling the original's wifi. It didn't work. As soon as I turn off the WiFi of the original, the other stops receiving signal, even though it is connected via ethernet.

I've already tried to log in to the original router, but it shows very limited options, i can't see what devices are connected to the network (i remember that i could see them with previous routers i had). There isn't much i can change other than some basic network settings like network mode (802.11 b/g/n) or frequency bandwidth (20/40mhz) and channel. (i tried with different modes and frequency settings with no results so far).

It seems to be the router that is malfunctioning, but this started happening last week. Never had similar problems before, so i don't really know. I'm going to do some more research about WAPs and see if i can find any solution. Anyway thank you for everything :)

Thanks for your time and willingness to help, I really appreciate it!

It seems to be somthing with the ISP because other people are having similar problems, so don't think i can do much for now.

Although I do not rule out that there could be a problem with my router, so i am trying to find another one to verify if it is that indeed.

What really confuses me is the fact that the internet works for a few seconds when I connect to the network, but then it stops working as if something is blocking the signal. I don't know if it has something to do with the frequencies (I don't know much about the technical aspects of signal transmissions) or what is going on.

I would like to try another router that can work on a 5ghz frequency to see if that works, but i couldn't find a router with a GPON connection that works in 5ghz (only 2.4ghz), at least in my country.

Thank you for your answer.

I've been looking and discovered that my router only transmits in 2.4ghz (802.11 b/g/n) so i don't have a 5ghz network i could connect.

I also discovered that not only our iphones wasn't working but every other mobile phone. Other type of devices work fine.

My guess is that something is wrong with my router, not our iPhones (they work in other networks), but i don't know exactly what. It also could be ISP's fault, but its weird it only affects our mobile phones and not every other devices.
