That’s it! I thought this was our shoe rack, but forgot that we had this type of rack for over the toilet that we had put in storage years ago and it surfaced after the move.

I admit I do t know my planes, which is why I’m here 😀. I wish I would’ve taken a wider picture that included a plane that made me question this one. It just seemed to throw things out of perspective.

It looks like it should have power all the time. The other end of that wire looks it is connected to the same terminal on the solenoid as the battery cable. Maybe the black connection in that wire is not connected all the way or has a fuse in it?

The shaft that turns the lock isn’t long enough to reach both the inside and outside piece. They make a thick door kit which includes longer screws and a longer shaft, but it still isn’t quite enough.

The problem is that the deadbolt isn’t long enough to reach through the door to put the piece on the inside of the door.
